This page gives general information in simple words. It is not advice for your own case. What is right for you depends on your examination and your reports. Your doctor will explain your options and you decide.
Common questions
Do you give all the government vaccinations?
Yes. Bring the child's vaccination card every time so the next date can be written in it.
My child cries at the hospital. What should I do?
Bring a familiar toy or a bottle. Tell the staff at the desk. Children who are very distressed can usually be seen sooner.
Can I come without an appointment?
Yes, during outpatient hours. But calling first means less waiting for you and the child.
Is a paediatrician available during delivery?
A paediatrician is available for newborn care. Ask the front desk about timings for your due date.
Not sure which doctor you need?
Call the front desk. Tell them your problem in your own words and they will tell you which doctor to see, and when to come.
