This page gives general information in simple words. It is not advice for your own case. What is right for you depends on your examination and your reports. Your doctor will explain your options and you decide.
Common questions
Do I need an appointment for a scan?
Usually you can come during outpatient hours. Calling first is better, because some scans need you to come with a full bladder or an empty stomach.
When will I get the report?
Most reports are given the same day. The front desk will tell you the time when you come in.
Is a scan safe during pregnancy?
Ultrasound scans use no radiation and are routinely used during pregnancy. Always tell the staff if you are pregnant or think you may be.
Can I get the report on WhatsApp?
Ask at the desk. Reports are shared only with the patient or a person the patient names.
Not sure which doctor you need?
Call the front desk. Tell them your problem in your own words and they will tell you which doctor to see, and when to come.
