Questions people ask us about this

When should the first check-up be?

As soon as you know you are pregnant. Early check-ups help find problems before they grow.

How many scans will be done?

A standard number at fixed stages of pregnancy. Your doctor will give you the dates in writing. Scans are not done more often than needed.

Can I choose normal delivery?

Your wish is part of the discussion. The final decision depends on your health and the baby's position, and it is explained to you before anything is fixed.

Is a doctor available at night?

The hospital is open 24 hours for emergency and inpatient care. Ask the front desk about the arrangement for your due date.

Still deciding? That is fine.

Come for a consultation, get examined and take the information home. There is no pressure to fix a date on the first visit.
